Welcome to the Yarn Cravin’ Website!

Yarn Cravin’ Fall News

Here we are again, the kids are going back to school and the weather has now decided to warm up. But for us, it means new yarns, new classes and exciting new projects to make! Our class schedule has been updated! Most samples of class projects are on display.

While looking at the class schedule you will notice that we are offering Rug Punching classes again!! We have a new teacher, Terrie. She has made many, many beautiful rugs. Clair, Terrie’s niece will be drawing the rug designs. Stop in to see the designs to choose from! If you have taken a rug class in the past and are interested in making more rugs, come see us!!

Mark your calendar!!! We are having another Mountain Colors Cash and Carry Show!! Tuesday Sept. 16 from 5-8. If you missed the first one, you won’t want to miss this one. And if you came to the first one I know you won’t miss this one!! For those of you who weren’t here, this is how it works. Our wonderful, talented sales rep, Linda, comes in from Chicago with her car loaded down with wonderful yarns and kits from Mountain Colors and you will have more to chose from than we could ever have all at one time here at the shop. Cash, check and charge accepted.

Monday Sept. 8th will be our first Monday open again! If you come see us on this Monday with a knitted or crocheted market bag you have made, we will give you a 10% discount on whatever you can fit in your bag. (needles and consignment items excluded)

Watch for up coming knit-a-longs to be starting soon! This fall we will be starting the Einstein Jacket and London Bridges Cardigan.

Last but not least is our End of the Summer BINGO!!!!!! Thursday August 28th from 6-7:30. Cost is $10 and we ask that you pre-register. We had lots of fun at our last one, you won’t want to miss out this time!!! There will be yarny prizes.
