Payment Policy: Pre payment required for all classes. All
supplies must be purchased at Yarn Cravin’ prior to first class
unless otherwise stated. Students receive a 10% discount on
all class supplies. Minimum 3 students per class, maximums
vary. No refunds one week prior to class. Full refund if class is
canceled.

BEGINNING KNIT AND CROCHET Classes are done privately
for $10 an hour at your convenience. Please contact us with
any questions you have.

Fixing Mistakes:   In this class you will learn how to fix a
number of knitting mistakes. Jill will cover dropped stitches to
improper stitch orientation, tightening bind off loops,
yarn over’s and more.

Saturday August 23rd, 10-12

Basic Socks on two circular needles:  In this class we will be
making socks with 2 circular needles.  No sock making
experience is required, but you must have basic knitting skills.
At the end of three classes, you will have one complete sock.

Wednesdays, July 9, 16, & 23. First and third classes from 10-
12; second class 10-1
Saturdays, August 16, 23 & 30. First and third classes from 1-

Saturdays, Sept. 6, 13, & 20. First and third classes from 9:30-
11:30; second class 9:30-12:30

Top down Sweater:  This class will teach you to make a
sweater all in one piece. It is started at the neck with no seams
to sew. There is an added benefit of being able to try it on as
you go, so you can adjust the pattern to your body. You can
use any type of yarn that you like. There are several necklines
and pattern options to choose from. This is a good first
sweater but not a good first project. Advanced Beginner

Thursdays July 17, 31, August 14 First and third classes from
2-5; second class 2-4
Saturdays Aug. 2, 16 &30. First and third classes from 10-1;
second class 10-12

Advanced Top down Sweater:  Take your top down sweater
design to the next level.  Use any or all of the patterns in the
sample, or bring your own ideas
Top Down sweater class is a pre-requisite and must have
been taken prior to this class, no exceptions.  Please choose a
yarn to get 3.5 st/inch gauge.

Thursdays July 17, 31 and August 14. First class from 5-8;
second 2 classes from 5-7

Stash Shawl: This wonderful shawl can be made with all new
yarns or yarns from your stash or a combination of both. It is a
fun way to learn how to use up odds and ends from your yarn
stash to make a wonderful shawl. With this same method you
can make almost anything, the possibilities are endless. Come
see our sample! You will need a minimum of 12-15 different
yarns including novelty yarns. No bulky or chenille please. A
complete supply list is available.

101 Designer Series Each month between now and December
a different class will be offered from the101 Designer One
Skein Wonders Book. What a great way to get a jump on
Christmas gifts!

Magic Loop Minis: In this class you will learn the magic loop
method of knitting. We will be making the cute little mitten in
this class. You won’t want to stop there though; they are so
much fun and addicting! Use them as ornaments or package
tie ons!

Cable Mittens: These elegant mittens are sized to fit a small
child, large child, a small adult and a large adult. They are
sure to please anyone on your Christmas list!

Between Seasons Cap: This is a great hat for either side of
winter. It has a twisted-stitch cable band that is knitted
separately, seamed at the back; then stitches are picked up
and you knit in the round. What a great way to learn about
cables, left and right twists and a little seaming.

Wednesdays Sept. 17 & 24. 5-6

Rug Punching: A fun way to make beautiful rugs. Rug
punching is an exciting project anyone would love to do.
Needs no experience for a great new habit or hobby! We will
offer different original designs by Colleen each month.
$30.00 plus supplies, class fee does include frame and fabric
with design.

Just My Size Mittens: Warm and cozy mittens for the whole
family.  These mittens are knit with a doubled cuff and 2
strands of yarn for the hand portion. They are super comfy and
will soon be one of your favorite patterns to make mittens.

Wobbly Circles Tote: This is a great first project to learn
intarsia. The felting process will fill in any gaps between color
changes and smooth out uneven stitches.

and Janice will be showing you
how to make Christmas Cards embellished with mini knitted
