Beginning Knitting – Sandy

Learn to Knit while making a very attractive scarf. You will learn to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off all while learning to read a pattern. Each class has 4 sessions.

Brioche Cowl – Leigh Ann

Learn the Brioche stitch in two colors while knitting in the round on this cozy cowl.

Brioche Hat – Leigh Ann

Continue your lesson in brioche by learning to cast on as well as decreasing in the stitch. Learn 2 color (Italian) tubular cast on. This is an intermediate skill level class.

Felted Purse – Laurie

Learn to pick up stitches, knit in the round and decrease all while making a stunning handbag for you or as gift. If you have never tried felting, what are you waiting for?

Ombre Basket – Laurie (Crochet)

A quick and easy project. Great for holding your work in process projects. Learn the basics of crochet while creating a unique basket with handles of your choice.

Socks on 2 Circular Needles – Bobbie

Have you admired the beautiful sock yarns we carry but thought you couldn’t possibly make socks? Well, this class is for you. If you can knit and purl, you can make socks. Socks are fun to make and wonderful to wear. This class meets 3 times with varying times so put them in your calendar carefully.

Basic Socks on One 9” Circular Needle – Bobbie

Learn how to make socks on one needle with the help of DPN’s or another circular for the toe. This is my favorite needle length to use when making socks as well as leg warmers, mitts, sweater sleeves and more. This can be your first pair or your 31st pair! As long as you know how to knit and purl you are good to go!

Hand knit socks are fun to knit and great to wear! This class meets 3 times, with varying times.

Encadre’ Cowl – Leigh Ann

Encadre’ is fully reversible cowl. The simple yet beautiful design makes it a great first color work project.This cowl will hug your neck with great warmth and softness.

This is a great second project. Learn to knit in the round while making a beautiful cowl to keep you warm. Also, a great social knitting project for seasoned knitters.

Bear’s Rainbow Blanket – Bobbie

This crocheted blanket is made up of blocks that are later joined. The pattern is made with fingering weight yarn and can be made with our mini skeins or leftovers from your socks along with a border color. This is a wonderful project to carry along and work on here and there.

Easy Winter Lace Scarf – Bobbie

Learn how to knit a simple lace pattern while making cozy, warm scarf. This is a great project if you are new to lace.

Granny Stripe Scarf – Bobbie

I know my love of granny squares, stems from my childhood. I would sit and watch my grandmother as she rocked in her chair and made them with a stash of many colors. Often, no two alike. This scarf is actually a granny stripe. You will learn how to make a foundation single crochet. This is a very useful method to avoid having a beginning chain that is too tight.

The Long Skinny – Bobbie

Looking for a scrap/stash busting project?? Join me in making a great wrap. Gather those fingering weight leftovers. You may decide to purchase one color to use as you main or contrasting color and your scraps for the other. Either way it will be beautiful and fun to make. The pattern cost $6 on Ravelry and can be purchased thru the shop.

Class Enrollment:

All classes must be paid for in advance. Class sizes vary. To secure your spot it must be paid in full. It is the students responsibility to attend all classes in a multi session class. No refund will be given for missed classes. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, your class fee will be refunded. Always, give us a phone number that is best to reach you in case of bad weather.

Class Supplies:

We require that all class supplies be purchased at Yarn Cravin’. You will receive a 10% discount on all class supplies. Please bring basic knitting supplies to each class. Including; scissors, stitch markers, chili, tape measure plus those required for your class.
