Have you seen the Tofu Tee?

Join us Wednesdays, August 6-September 10, at
Yarn Cravin’ for free tofu tee
workshops/knit-a-longs.
(with the purchase of supplies)

Join us on Wednesdays to knit a tofu tee. The first
day you come in we will help you select yarn and
get you started. Come any Wednesday to knit, help
will be available if needed. Can’t make it on
Wednesdays? Feel free to call and make other
arrangements.

This side to side top is made using Tofutsies sock
yarn held double. Tofutsies yarn is 50% superwash
wool, 25% soysilk, 22.5 cotton, and 2.5% chitin.
Chitin is fiber from shrimp and crab shells that is
naturally antibacterial! It is machine wash and dry.
The fun begins when you choose your colors. It
takes 5 different colors that change throughout the
top. It goes so quickly because you can’t wait to
see the next color combination.

Bobbie is finishing her block of the month afghan,
so you know what that means, yes we have a new
one. Be sure to check out the new one Dale Ann
has made out of Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride. (You
know that is my very favorite yarn). There will a
new class for this starting in October. Watch for
further information.

We have Knitting at Noon's pattern for Snobuddies
now. They are really cute and flying out the door,
so come in soon to get your copy. A couple of
samples are done and in the store.

We also encourage you to make a market bag or
two to help us all go green. I have a couple of
variations of the String Market Bag made up and
on display. Come in for your hemp or linen. They
are easy and quick to make, and we have a free
pattern for it.

If you have requests for classes this fall, let us
know now. We will start working on the schedule for
fall classes this week.

DALE ANN IS GOING TO JAIL!

I need help. Please make a donation to get me out
of jail. There will be a box for donations at Yarn
Cravin'. September 17, I will be going to jail for
Muscular Dystrophy from 12 - 1 at Casa Baron's in
Perrysburg. I am almost sure they allow visitors, so
come visit and make a donation to get me out.

Headhuggers. This group meets at the Am. Cancer
Society the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30.
Can’t make the meeting? That’s okay. You can still
donate hats. You can drop them off at Yarn Cravin’
anytime. They really need cotton and lighter weight hats
for the summer months. Please consider making some
hats to help others in need.
